The ICAR (Indian Council of Agricultural Research) provides the Netaji Subhas-ICAR international fellowships for Indian students to study overseas. The fellowship program can also be applied by international students who wish to pursue an agricultural course in India. The duration of the program is for three years. The candidates must hold a postgraduate degree in agriculture and allied sciences and should have secured an overall GPA score of 65%. 


Eligibility Criteria

The (Indian and international) applicants should meet the following criteria:

Should hold a MA degree in agriculture and allied sciences

Should have an overall GPA score of 65%

Should not be more than 35 years of age at the time of application. However, candidates serving at the ICAR-AU system are eligible to apply until 40 years of age.


Scholarship Benefits

For Indian students studying overseas:

ICAR will cover the economy flight tickets of Indian students travelling from their nearest airport to the place of their residence or university The ICAR will give a scholarship amount of USD 2,000 every month.

The scholarship also offers USD 1,000 per annum as contingent expenses to the selected candidates. 


For international students studying in India:

The institution will cover economy flight tickets of the international students

The international students will receive INR 40,000 per month

They will also receive INR 25,000 per annum as contingent expenses

The Pradhan Mantri Surakshit Matritva Abhiyan aims to provide assured, comprehensive and quality antenatal care, free of cost, universally to all pregnant women on the 9th of every month. It guarantees a minimum package of antenatal care services to women in their 2nd / 3rd trimesters of pregnancy at designated government health facilities.

The programme follows a systematic approach for engagement with private sector which includes motivating private practitioners to volunteer for the campaign developing strategies for generating awareness and appealing to the private sector to participate in the Abhiyan at government health facilities.

Mukhyamantri Rajshri Yojana scheme works towards the welfare of a girl child. Under this scheme, Government of Rajasthan provides financial assistance to the girl child in the state for their health and education. It provides a timely scholarship to the girl child from birth to education up to 12th class.

The first installment of Rs 2,500/- is given to the mother of a newly born girl child by the respective medical center. After completing the 1 year of the girl child with all vaccinations done then the government provide the second installment of Rs. 2500 by check to the mother. The government then will provide Rs. 4000 to girl at the time of admission in 1st standard.

State government provides financial assistance of Rs. 5000 for girls studying in 6th standard and Rs.11000 studying in class 11th and 12th. After successfully completed the 12th class, government provide financial assistance of Rs. 25000/-.
